What we do
Most of our work is the drive between Zurich Airport and the towns of north-eastern Switzerland: Winterthur, the city of Zurich, Zug, the Gold Coast along the lake, the Zurich Oberland and the Limmat valley. We also drive long distances to Lucerne, Davos, St. Moritz, Interlaken, Gstaad, Basel and Geneva, and we run a chauffeur service for companies, weddings and events. There is no meter in the car. You agree the price with us before the journey and that is what you pay, including luggage and night, weekend and public-holiday rides.
How your airport pickup works
1. Book before you fly
Send us your flight number, arrival time, destination and number of passengers by WhatsApp, phone or e-mail. You receive a written confirmation with the fixed price.
2. We track your flight
If your flight lands early or late, we adjust the pickup time automatically. You never pay extra for a delay.
3. Meet & greet
After customs, your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall with your name on a sign, helps with your luggage and walks you to the car.

Booking from abroad
You do not need an account or an app. Write to us on WhatsApp at +41 79 748 07 86 or by e-mail at info@besttaxiservice.ch with your flight number, the arrival date and time, the address you are going to and the number of passengers and suitcases. We reply with the fixed price in writing and keep your booking in our calendar. If your flight is delayed or lands early we see it and adjust the pickup; the first sixty minutes of waiting time after landing are free.

Group transfers and the large taxi van
From four passengers on, a sedan gets tight and two taxis cost twice as much. For groups we send the Mercedes V-Class: six seats and a separate luggage area for suitcases, ski bags, a pushchair or golf bags. The van costs exactly CHF 10 more than the sedan on every route – for the whole vehicle, not per person. At Zurich Airport that is the difference between everyone travelling together and hunting for two cars at the taxi rank.

Frequently asked questions
Do your drivers speak English?
Yes. All our drivers speak English and German, and we answer WhatsApp and e-mail in English. Many of our guests book from abroad before they travel.
How much does a transfer from Zurich Airport cost?
It depends on the destination and the price is fixed before you travel: from CHF 60 for the towns around the airport, CHF 110 to Winterthur, CHF 80 to the city centre of Zurich, CHF 270 to Lucerne and CHF 720 to Davos. The full list is on our price page.
Is the price per person or per car?
Per car, never per person. Up to three passengers travel in the sedan; the van takes six and costs only CHF 10 more on the same route.
How do I book?
Send us your flight number, arrival time, destination and number of passengers by WhatsApp, phone or e-mail. You get a written confirmation with the fixed price, usually within a few minutes.
Can I book from abroad before my trip?
Yes. Most of our international guests book by WhatsApp or e-mail before they travel. Send us your flight number, arrival time, destination and number of passengers, and we confirm the fixed price in writing. We reply in English and German.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We follow your flight number live and adjust the pickup time to the actual landing. You get 60 minutes of free waiting time after landing, and there is no charge for delays.
Where do I meet the driver at Zurich Airport?
In the arrivals hall after customs. Your chauffeur holds a sign with your name, helps with your luggage and takes you to the car.
How do I pay?
In cash, by credit card, or by invoice for companies. The price is fixed in advance and does not change on the way.
